My Lovely Home (2021) /
My Lovely Home (14 min) is an experimental dance film shot during the Covid-19 pandemic, inspired by Gilles Deleuze's essay The Exhausted.
What and where is home?
Do we truly own the home we live in?
An exhausted man, striving to find a home, heads nowhere.
What is humankind struggling for?
We all have our own burdens, weighing us down: our inner conflict with being, the pressure of our past, our emotional complexities, the epigenetic trauma of humankind and so on.
These burdens have exhausted humankind, but we are still moving. Despite this exhausted existence, humankind bravely moves forward striving to find a home, heading nowhere.
